Indianet Field Marketing has the unique systems and processes in place in terms of data collection. India being a multi language multi cultural country it is the only agency today to have a 9 regional languages besides English, interviewer training module running in the country.
The stimulus’s used for any study [ depending on the location and the regional language majority ] are used in the local language along with aids translated too.
Besides training of interviewer’s in the local language, we also use other study materials like Guide booklets [ supplied to the interviewer’s as a ready reckoner ].

Face to face personal interviews:
Our trained interviewer’s collects the information from target respondents using a structured questionnaire in person using interviewing aids. The interviews are conducted in the language the respondent is most comfortable in conversing with. Usually the interviewer carries English as well as the local major language questionnaire to conduct interviews. Across households when interviews are conducted using the personal interview method, the interviews are conducted randomly depending on the respondent fitting into the required qualifying criteria.Interviewing for adults across households are executed differently compared to when it is executed for children. Pictorial workbooks and a pictorial interviewing aids are used extensively for children interviews.
For interviews with Senior / Middle management across corporations, appointments are fixed prior to conducting interviews. Depending on the subject of the research, sometimes questionnaires are also sent in advance for the respondent to prepare facts and figures required for the research.
Self administered questionnaires:
Self administered questionnaires are also used for clients who are interested in reaching large numbers at a reasonable cost, however this method in India has not been proven successful in India as it requires repeated monitoring over telephone.
CATI:
Computer Aided Telephonic Interviews is a new phenomenon which is catching up fast specifically in the target sectors where approach is becoming more and more difficult. A special database is created on the basis of which according to client requirements, data is first sorted out to identify the target group followed by interviews over telephone by our trained CATI interviewers. The advantage being the accuracy of the respondent profile and the quality of data collected as it is being done under a single roof. Added advantage is the instant results which is available within 3 hours of execution completion.
Web Interviews:
Special user friendly questionnaires could be created suiting the client’s needs and can be put up either on our own website or on client’s side as per requirements. The data collected will be downloaded periodically as agreed between the client and us then accumulated, processed and the findings delivered to the client.
Mystery Shopping:
A special team of Mystery shopper’s are created depending on the product on which shopping is being done for. Depending on the product the profile of mystery shoppers are finalised post which we recruit such mystery shoppers before putting them through a thorough training as it requires a lot of concentrated observation and noting the responses post the work.
Focus groups:
We arrange focus groups with all types of respondent profile beginning from the household products consumers to evolved customers of high value products to working profile of respondents. The groups are conducted in a central location with the proceedings being taped for post reference. We also have the unique facility of live streaming of proceedings to clients across the world saving a lot of time and cost and conveniencing clients to observe focus group discussions realtime.
In depth interviews:
These interviews are executed using Researcher’s mostly in homes and sometimes in a central location. The interviews sometimes are as extended as long as 3 hours. In all cases the interviews are audio recorded and sometimes video recorded with the participants permission.
